Let one of our ophthalmic dispensers guide you through our Virtual Eyewear Boutique! Experience our hospitality from the comfort of your home and get trusted expert advice as we help you through the frame and lens selection process.

What We Do Differently

Your glasses should reflect your style and personality.

Finding that perfect frame either takes a lot of trial and error, or it takes an experienced dispenser with a keen eye – someone who can translate that vague idea you have in your head of what your glasses should look like on you. That can only come from person to person conversation and connection.

On top of that, proper glasses lens selection takes into account:

Your prescription.
If you need high index lenses and which index is best suited for your prescription
The size of your glasses frames.
What your primary use is for the glasses.
How much you use a computer.
Whether you need blue light blocking lenses.
Whether you need freeform lenses.
Whether you need a reading relief prescription.
Options for outdoor use.
- Clip-on sunglasses.
- A separate pair of prescription sunglasses.
- Transitions lenses that darken in sunlight.
Office or desk lenses for optimized intermediate and/or near vision.

All of these choices matter. Proper measurements can help ensure your lenses are centered and that the focal power is at the right height in the lens for your needs.

How It Works:

Our ophthalmic dispensers will do a virtual consultation with you over a video call (Zoom or Facetime).
In this consultation, our dispenser will guide you through the available frames and narrow down a selection of 5 to 7 frames that match your face shape and personal style.
Once your frames have been selected, we will arrange a date and time that works best for us to deliver your chosen frames to your doorstep.
You and your family will have a private viewing of your selected eyewear. While you try on your frames, our dispenser will virtually consult with you to help you make a final decision.
After you’ve chosen your new eyewear, we will take your measurements digitally and collect the frames to complete your order.
The finished glasses will be delivered to your home!

This will all be done with the utmost care to ensure frames are disinfected, and dropoff and pickup will be contactless. We value your safety and health as much as we value your need to see clearly and comfortably.

What To Expect For Your Appointment

Things our dispensers may ask you during your Virtual Eyewear Boutique appointment:

Your style preference (Round frame, square frame, rimless, cat-eye, aviator, colour preference, plastic frame, metal frame, etc.)
The dimensions of your current glasses (a photo of this works well, these are the numbers on the inside of your glasses frame)
The number of hours you spend on a computer per day
Your hobbies and occupation
Whether or not you have any metal allergies
Whether or not you are allergic to silicone
If you are a current patient at one of our clinics
